Check out the Association's traveling trophies:

These are beautiful 20" half-hull models mounted on 16" x 31" plaques, with the names of past C25 Tall Rig, C25 Standard Rig and C250 winners. Just picture having YOUR name added to this heritage and the trophy proudly displayed in your office or home for a year. Or, be like others who have reclaimed their trophy by repeating their win in a succeeding year.

I'm sure with the great people in this association we should have 12 to 15 c25's and at least 5 to 7 c250's. If we show up in great numbers it will show the other sailing originations just how great our association is. Looking back on the past few Nationals there has not been a great turnout of competing boats. I see posts of people wanting to crew because their boats do not have trailers. All we need now is more people with boats. Getting people for a crew sounds like it will not be a problem.

People with trailers I challenge you to help make this years Nationals the best ever. I had the privilege of seeing a c25 Nationals in the 1980's at Brookville Lake in southeast Indiana there had to be 20 boats that year. I know with the committed people to this great association we can get at least that many boats if not more.

This was Don Peet's statement to me when I was trying to decide if I wanted to make the 2412 mile round trip to Nationals.

My round trip this year will be 2900 miles +/-. Is there a prize for the longest journey to the Nationals? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> (In Salt Lake they gave a free suite at the Sheraton...)

Sure am glad to hear that c25 Nationals is a go!

Everything has fallen into place, and I will be there looking for a ride. I'm one without a trailer so getting osmepneo west to Syracuse is very difficult for me, but I'll be there Friday afternoon looking forward to a great w/e.

I'm available to crew or skipper for a boat that lacks experience and would like to start racing.
