i would like to replace the pleated shades in the cabin. does anyone know the source for ordering these? i would like to replace them with a different color. thanks...
thank you. i had seen that source in my search. i was hoping to just buy replacement shades that attach the same way the ones that came with the boat do. just unscrew the old ones and put up the new ones. i could just buy them from catalina, but they just have white and i was hoping to change the color. thank you for the information.
i would try that, but i'm afraid they would loose their "memory" and not fold properly. and since i dont know what they are made of, i dont know if they would die evenly.
These guys make blinds that look very similar to ours in colors. I don't know how much they charge direct, but Defender sells them for $36.95 for one 20"x12" shade.
Coldducks, try the DYE on one small shade then if it does not work you can replace or order from the above Link Tray found...? I bet Dye will work, Steve
If the shades don't dye evenly - you could just go for the tie-dye look on the boat. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> I imagine Catalina would let you know who there supplier is and you may be able to contact them. I do find that the white tends to stain easily and changing color would add the the blah -white interior. Let us know what you find
thank you all for your input. i think i will contact catalina. all the others that i have seen do not have the same velcro that keeps the shades up or down. and you are right about the white shades discoloring. and i do think that another color would help the blah blahs that you are refering to. thanks again..
