I WAS SAILING YESTERDAY AND WHEN I DOCKED I PLUGED MY 110 VOLT INTO THE DOCKSIDE WITH THE MAIN ON. NOW I HAVE NO 12 VOLT POWER ON MY PANEL. COULD I HAVE BLOWN SOMETHING OUT.
Doubtful, since the only connection between the 110vac and the 12vdc is probably a battery charger.
I would first check your 12vdc fuse panel to make sure they are good, then check to make sure that the battery is okay, as well as the connections from the battery to the power panel.
I agree with Don. The only thing that would connect the DC and AC circuitry would be a battery Charger. Check the wiring and see where the 110 runs. I would check your fuses and your battery connections. Do you regain power once the 110 shore power is disconnected? Check the Master Fuse (if you have one)that could be the entire problem.
Just another thought, if you have a battery selector, there should be an inline (according to code) between that and your panel. Since it is inline, you might not easily see it. If for some reason this fuse blew, (could be related to battery charger and the 110 hookup or maybe not) everything would be down.
