Martin, I have not looked at the web sites yet, and you did not say what keel configuration your boat has, but my gut feeling is, if you have a swing keel, making the boat self-steer would be very difficult. The short fore and aft length of a swinger when down, makes them pretty sensitive to leave unattended and keep tracking in a relatively straight line. My C-25 is a swing keel, and sure demonstrates that characteristic. The fin and wing keels should be all together different, and should be capeable of handling a self-steering system. Someone with one of those keel configurations might be about comment one any success they have had with self-steering. Now I'll check the web sites.
