Been a while since I stepped the mast...Trying to remember...

I remember wanting about 8-10 inches of rake in the mast and also putting some pre-bend in her as well. Is the rake put in with the backstay tight or loose?

As far as rake, I like about 5 or 6 inches of rake for Snickerdoodle.
