hello all yesterday everything went as planned.. I got the keel sandblasted, etched it, and put 2 coats of rustlock, within 2 hrs of the last coat of rustlock i put antifouling paint on it.. I chose not to epoxy for time constraint-reasons..
Today i went to the boat and there was alot of little specs of rust on most of the keel!!!
I am SOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!! It drizzled last night, but i'm sure the paints had enough time to dry... ARGH!!!!
Is there any quick remedy? Am i stuck with what i got? i'm sure it's better than what it was.. but it's really annoying to know i spent all day on something and the problem shows up the next day!!!

Most rust-converter products (and regular metal primers for that matter) require topcoats with a 'sealing' paint'to close the pores and prevent moisture penetration. (i.e. more rust)
(don't ask how I know this) (grins)
