Out of fairness to Petit I thought I should post this: A while back I was having fits about the cost of marine boot stripe paint. I was tempted to use Rustolium. Ended up coughing up the big bucks and using Petit EasyPoxy in electric Blue. This paint was hands down the best looking, most forgiving paint I've ever used. Now I have an electric blue boot stripe, top sides stripe on my dink, oars, etc. Each time the paint goes on easy and finishes to a nearly perfect gloss finish.

Easypoxy rocks. Beware of the fumes if you're in an enclosed area though... (don't ask how I know this).

The stripes on my last boat were the original baby blue that I overcoated with the same Petit Electric Blue EasyPoxy and it sure made that boat pretty!

I thought Doug sounded a little too happy......did you paint anything else? Car, bycycles, kitchen backsplash...mailbox?

Just kidding. Sounds like I'll have to try the stuff....<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

EasyPoxy sounds like an excellent product, maybe next time.

Several years ago I used Interlux Brightside on osmepneo's waterline strip, and it worked wonderfully. It was easy to use and looks sharp, contrasting the green bottom. Very satisfied with the Brightside.
