Unfortunately, our furling line came undone (din't break-just "unhooked" from the drum) while we were sailing yesterday. I also forgot to bring home the literature on the unit. Can anyboy enlighten me as to what happened and how I will go about re-attaching the line to the unit? It's a Furlex and It's less than 1 year old. I know it's going to drive me crazy thinking about it until I can get back to the boat on Friday. Thanks in advance.....

You can apparently download a manual (.pdf) from Selden, maker of Furlex, at www.seldenmast.com. Wish I could do he same for my Hood.

Dave,

Which Hood furler do you have? If it is the SeaFlex let me know and I can send you a copy of mine.

Otherwise, email them at Hoodyachtsystems@Pompanette.com and they will send you one, likely for free. I have gotten very good support from them!

Thanks, Clif... I'll try that. I'm not sure of the model--I'll take a closer look.
