I have spent the past few days looking at used sail sites and need some help on identifying an appropriate crusing chute. What demensions am I looking for? Also, it appears that J24 150s work out to 135s for us. Has anyone tried a J24 150? Is the clew angle anywhere close to what we need? http://www.sailingtexas.com/csails.html
[quote] I use a J24 155 as my number 2 jib on a standard rig. It is about a 147% . It works great and the price was right. ($100 bucks, only 1 year old) D. Wolff - "The Flying Wasp" #401 sr/sk Chief Measurer C-25/250 National Assn.
Thanks Duane, I was starting to get a complex. I didn't think this was a stupid question. How has the sheeting angle worked out for you? Is the foot pretty low?
