Not much wind, 110 degrees, lake level down 110 feet, and still too many stink boats. Typical first race weekend in Arizona.

Good news is they put my rating from 216 to 225. I will take every second I can get. Some referance was made to dead chickens and moon phase as far as the number.

Thanks for the link, that was great fun. It was nice to see a Merit 25 in the hunt. I swear I did not see any bottom paint on a single boat, have you all made a deal with the devil? What were the daysailors whose insignia looked like a thistle but not quite like a thistle?

We have a fleet of Thisles that number 5-8 average. The thisle skipper has won the overall fleet cup 7 years running. We have several Merits also with one more joining next weekend.

Phoenix, not hell but you can see it from here! Any deal would have to include a bit more wind. Had the Cat over 30 degrees plus and hanging tight.....after all the races and we where headed to the dock.
