The local college sailing club had its fall regatta last weekend. We were going to race 3 races but the wind let us down. In the 1st race the wind at the start of the race was around 5 to 8 and totally disappeared during the race. It was a 2 miles windward leeward course with the starting line in the middle. It took us 29 minutes to go from the start around the windward mark then a wing on wing run to the leeward mark. That was 11/2 miles. It took a 1:10 to go the last ½ a mile.

Here is the finish times without corrections for the only race and a picture of Daylight Again.

FALL REGATTA RACING RESULTS
The following results are for a single combined heat.

1st place Hobie (skippered by Ron Neidigh) 1:33:31
2nd place C/250k (skippered by Bryan Beamer) 1:39:23
3rd place C-27 Escape (skippered by Jay Matheson) 1:54:44
4th place Pearl S.Buck (skippered by Brian Nellor) 2:07:37
5th place Dunn-dunnit (skippered by Frank Dunn) 2:24:10
6th place Newport 27 (skippered by Allen Aubert) 2:26:03

What about that time for the C250wk

Bryan, I can see the mono-filiment controlling those burgees that you are playing from your lap. A little extra SA my man?
