Arlyn, Regarding the current thread on the Newest generation rudder. Are you still using the kickup rudder as per your contributions to the technical page? Or have you obtained the newest C250 rudder, which I believe is considered "the 3rd generation".

Gary, The problem with the 1st generation was that it was inadequately sized. The problem with the 2nd was that it wasn't balanced. So Catalina did what they do well...stayed with it until they provided a solution.

This was not a Catalina only pro

Yes Derek, the C25 is a great boat. Unfortunately it wouldn't meet my needs. Land locked in East Texas, I was looking for a boat that would trailer to the Great Lakes with a standard half ton truck for a tow...the boat had to be easily set up as I weeke
