I just fixed electrical panel idiot light. I used an led from Radio Shack. PN 276-270. It was around 2 bucks and fit the hole on HN 5775 without further mod. I likes the fact that it only draws 15 MA. Hope this helps anyone who's light bulb is burned out.

Is it bright enough to be a 'night light'? Before I completely broke mine, the red cover was gone and there was enough light to navigate around the cabin without turning an overhead light on or using a flashlight.

Am thinking about wiring a bright enough (red) LED in there to accomplish the same purpose.

I have not been down there at night yet. I will post a reply when I have a full report. They have some really big ones that might be better for that. Just look around the bin at the Shack.

I didn't even realize that light was suppossed to come on. I thought it was a shore power reverse polarity indicator. Now that you mention it, I can easily see it is not. I'll try your fix. Thanks.

That poor light is pretty vulnerable to being broken by the ice chest lid..
