I know this has been posted on the forum before, but I can't find it. After a hard rain last night, I noticed the skylight is leaking a lot! I am not sure what is the best way to remove it, clean it, and rebed it. Thank you, Max in Jaxs
It is only a piece of plastic (not strong enough) set into a in the deck and core onto a lip. You can cut around it and lift it out with a knife, but there's a good chance you'll break it in the process. Catalina Direct sells replacements for practicall
One more thing... If you're taking the upper lense out, I'd suggest replacing it--either from Catalina Direct or by making something more substantial. I suspect that UV weakens the plastic over time, and evenually it'll snap when you step on it or stres
