I have the 25 footer out for the season, unfortunately I found that my gel coat has been compromised. I have busted and ground out some 2000 dime size blisters. I am now in the dry out phase before starting back with the repair process. While I have it

Mike,
It's a big job, but definitely do-able if you're careful. I'm sure you can find advice in the tech section.
I was in the same position afew years ago. With the boat on the trailer and the keel cable removed, support the forward half of the keel

If you are not having a thumping or banging problem with your swing keel, I would not worry about your keel bolts. The only reason to remove these bolts is to replace the swing keel pin, and then you will probably need the spacers that will stop the thum

Has anyone heard of an "air box-end wrench?" That would make the cranking the nuts up the long bolts much easier. I have been thinking about this procedure for some time and would sure like to use my compressor to do the work if it could.

Toold you so!! But when you replace the bolts, be sure to use a sealent around the bolts when re-installing them!!
