I have a leak in my icebox...it appears to be in the connection at the drain of the box. Is there a way to replace this fitting or is the drain molded into the icebox when it's made. I tried some Lifecaulk around the fitting and snugged the hose clamp but

You can find a fitting with a seal to replace the molded in one. You might try a local RV shop they carry RV sink drains. You could also replace the drain with a small through hull fitting . Hope this helps.
BTW life caulk wont work just applied to one s

Go to you local PVC plumbing supply and buy a tank fitting or a bulkhead fitting. The existing drain is about 1/2, so buy a 3/4" fitting. Use a hole saw and remove the existing drain. The tank bulk head fitting looks like a marine bulkhead fitting and has

Nate,
Some block off the ice box drain all together and be done with it. My box's drain is still connected but if it ever requires replacement I'd put the new drain in the rear of the box, where the water always collects. Do you see a puddle of water i

Val - I had the same drainage problem with the ice box (and couldn't change the drain position). I glassed a piece of plywood (back & front)with a 1/2" wedge glued to one end and then glassed it into the box and filled all the cracks around it with resin,
