I’m looking for warm weather winter sailing stories for the May Mainsheet.
While we northerners are hunkered down lets hear from you southern sailors and your winter adventures. We have not had a feature story from Calif. or the south in quite a while.
The deadline is the first of Feb.

how many words are you looking for? Does the story have to feature a C25/250? Are you looking for racing, cruising or just a day on the water with friends kind of story? Digital photos in jpeg format possible? How do we submit, as an MS Word file or PDF?

Gary and I are trying to get a San Diego fleet off the ground. We'd be very happy to get the message out in Mainsheet to reach those locals NOT using our forum. If I wrote a piece I'd like to put in a plug for the fleet.

Articles need to be specifically about the C25 or C250 after all these are the C25/C250 pages in the Mainsheet that feature our boats. Articles should be 2000 words max anything less will be good as long as it is compeling. We have featured both racing and cruising articles.
To make it in the mag the article has to have wide appeal. In the upcoming issue we have a terrific personal story of a Dad sailing for ten days with his nine year old daughter. We had a great article a couple years ago about two C25’s going to Catalina Isl. for the Catalina Rendezvous.
The mag has a section called “Destinations” and the C25/C250 members have had a quite a few articles that have shown real out of the ordinary places. Arlyn did a great article about sailing in the Great Lakes and Steve Milby wrote about Florida’s west coast inter coastal waterway.
So…if you have a great story lets hear it.
Thank you

MS Word works best.
