Is there a diagram or instructions on how to run the backstay adjusters, Main Sheet, and the traveler lines. When I purchased my '86 FK in December it was delivered with the mast unstepped. All the rigging and lines were taken apart before I got a chance to see how it was rigged. I checked the archives and there was a link to a site that had instructions but the link no longer works. Any help would be appreciated.

When I got my '81 SK, I went to a local (?) Catalina dealer and he made a copy of his old parts catalog for me, which showed all of those lines, (at no charge). He seemed very sympathetic to a newbie. Of course, since then I have made it worth his time, many times over. BUT, the real issue is that you can't beat an owners manual and a parts catalog for big answers to the little questions that we have.

Good luck

The parts catalog is online... at this very site. Go to the home page and look at the brochures and manuals pages.

I printed the parts catalog (diagrams), keep it in our desk and refer to it quite a bit since I am in the same shoes as joegeiger.
Joe, the other thing I have found useful is the Harken catalog. It has all kinds of great diagrams for running running running rigging on all sizes of boats for cruising or racing oriented skippers.

True
I gave my son one the other day and told him to put in the bathroom for educational reading. It really is a wonderful short course on rigging and hardware.
