After I cleaned up all the teak inside my cabin I started to notice just how much better my boat would look inside if it were repainted ... has anyone ever done that? What kind of paint should I use? How should I apply it ... spray? ... roller? ... brus

I'll address the pitfalls. I always feel my blood pressure rise anytime someone talks about painting over gelcoat. Bottom line to makes this brief - you're probably not cogizant of just how much wear and tear interiors receive because the gelcoat is qui

Buzz, West Marine, US Boating, etc. all sell jellcoat stain removers that are mild acids. I have used one of these products called ON/OFF on water line stains with good success. Remember that this stuff is probably muratic acid so don't get any on cloth

As far as stain removal, I've seen a whole gamut of products recommended on this site. Maybe someone else might suggest something. If liquid and/or powdered cleaners don't do it - you can try polishing compound first, then rubbing compound, and as a las

I presently have a Cape Dory 28 that looked really tired when I purchased it.

A coat of Pettit EasyPoxey Semi Gloss Interior White over the liner made this boat in new condition!

You can roll it on with a good "peanut" roller, or use a quality brus
