I had installed a triple clutch to port and a new single next to the existing double to starboard a while back. After I stepped the mast in the driveway I was able to determine the old double would not give me the line diameter versatility that I need so I had to replace it. The new double would not fit between the old single and the hand rail so I needed to stagger the double forward. I added metal clam cleats four the fourth cleat on each side. I wanted to be able to adjust the boom-vang easily so it could not be in a clutch. I put the topping lift in the clam on the port side.
I decided to go the path of least resistance for now on the AC, (Thanks Suzie), I may do something different later but for now this will be a hassle but it will work. I need to get some foam core to fill the wedges in the opening. I was very please with the metal bar I used, it was a generic long handle from Walmart. I cut it to length and slipped the top back on. Then I took the the bushings from the old traveler car and made track studs out of them, so the AC is held in place very well with out a hatch board.
The GPS is installed with screws rather than through bolts.
The back stay adjuster was one of the few things I attacked last fall in the brief few weeks I was in the water. (Let's face it the stock one is embarrassing!) I bought the 6x bullet purchase that I have moved to my Cunningham. It just would not pull back up freely with so much purchase. I decided to run a line through a block at the adjuster car, (it is a very nice Ronstan that will take wire or line), The 2x Carbo Airblock purchase is doubled by that Ronstan block and it results in a 4x MA that will pull itself back up when released. 4x seems to be plenty of purchase.
I dug out the fenders for the half slip, they are in good condition.
I had forgotten to add the second small cheek block so the reef hook would run up and back down. With out it the line would have gone up at an angle from a strap about two feet back. It would have drug badly and looked lame.
