I am reconditioning an old tiller I have. The holes where it mounts to the rudder had enlarged to the point it didn't feel safe or comfortable. I have filled the holes and plan to redrill them. Now I have a question.

Does anyone know the proper size holes to drill where the bolts go through to attach to the rudder?

Thanks.

If you have the stock setup from the factory, the bolts are 1/4 inch diameter.

if you concerned that the size you have might not be stock - you can always drill a peice of scrap wood and test the bolts...
