I am trying to help my brother shop around for boat insurance and read that many of you have USAA. Can someone tell me where USAA is located & what their telephone number is. The only USAA I keep coming up with is for the Armed Forces.
Thank you for the help!

Hi,

Here is an 800 number for USAA. I believe they are based in Texas, but they have large call centers in Phoenix.

1-800-531-8111

Ed - USAA is headquartered in San Antonio. They are the insurance/investment company for active & retired military personnel, both officers and other ranks.

Hi Ed,

What timing ... I just got a letter from USAA today that states who is eligible to become a USAA "member."

According to the letter, here is who's eligible: "Active duty, National Guard, and Selected Reserve enlisted personnel, officers and officer candidates, and their spouses and children ... "

USAA is headquartered here in San Antonio ... they employ a lot of people, and they have an excellent reputation.

'Hope that helps.

Thank you for the information.I will pass the number to my brother & also suggest he call Progressive Ins. He is in the process of trying to sell his Hunter 36 but until that happens he wants to change insurance companies.
Thanks Again!
