Just bought a 1979 25 so I'm in the process of bringing it up to gloss. While doing some light wet sanding I touched a part of the non-skid. It became red. Where the stain is toward the bow is where my self-furling jib line runs. I guess under the tan colored non-skid there is a red coat ... at least it seams that way. If that's the case, and any input is appreciated, then is there a good "touch-up" paint anyone knows of that would match the tan?

Has anyone considered asking the factory about this? We have the same problem on my 78, it is on the foredeck nonskid or maybe under it as some sort of undercoat. This forum indicates that enough boats have this problem that maybe it is symptomatic of the whole class.
