Entry forms for YOUR 2004 National Championship Regatta and Rendezvous in Portland, Oregon need to be mailed by July 2 *(THIS FRIDAY). One can enter later, but there will be a late fee.

We have racing in 3 classes over 3 days: FREE moorage, FREE kegs of microbrew ale, FREE barbeque, FREE wine, FREE souvenior teeshirts, LOTS of cool trophies, door prizes, a raffle for some items, seminars, lessons, a river tour, 3 days of optional cruising on the beautiful Columbia River after the regatta, and MORE! (like LOTS of boats to see for ideas, advice, etc. etc.). All this for the paltry entry fee of $70 for the boat and 2 crew.....

PHRF-NW handicap numbers will be used to "equalize" boats with and without spinnakers, so not having a chute is no reason not to come!!!

****If you aren't a racer, come join us anyway for socializing and fun events with your boat to increase skills in a FUN class....instead of "Racing", you'll other events to utilize your boat and increase your skill building......

At last count we "officially" have 1800 hits on the FLEET 94 Website since January, 15 boats officially entered in 3 classes, and several more "checks in the mail". We NEED more tall Rigs and 250s, especially; Only have 3 TRs and 2 250s right now!

Fleet 94 has worked hard to make this a premier event. If you can possibly join us, we guarantee that this will be a GREAT time! Check out the details on our local website with a link to a "Nationals homepage" complete with photos of the venue, etc. Call me to ask questions, get advice, offer complaints, suggest modifications, etc.......

Hope to see as many of you as possible! I so look forward to meeting lots of you!!!!!!

Come on guys & gals! Gary and his committee have made unbelievable efforts and put in hours of work to make this the best Nationals ever. If you can possibly get there - with or without your boat - you need to come and enjoy the fruits (and nectar ) of his labors!

I would, but I can't get a reservation to traverse the Panama Canal, and I am NOT taking my 250 around the Cape. LOL

Shawn,

How about a lift? It would be a little more direct than either the canal or the horn!
