We started with regular Cetol,then sanded it completely off. We then used Cetol Light and love it. We ended up putting 2 or 3 coats on, then finished off with 2 or 3 coats of Cetol Gloss. 2 years later, we don't even need a touch up. It look perfect, and allows one to see the real wood grain.
