While doing pre launch maintenance this spring I noticed the roller bearing cages on my Barient winches are cracking. I assume these were the standard winch that came out on a 1982 C-25. I was surprised that the bearings and cages were made out of a nylon or plastic looking material. I poked around on the internet and found out that Barient was bought out by Lewmar but I'm not having much luck finding new roller bearings. Can anyone direct me to a website that sells them?

My 82 #2790 came with Lewmar #7s standard. I have never seen Barients on a Catalina 25.

I have one Lewmar and one Barient on the cabin top. Fortunately,
all were well for spring cleaning. Check out this site, it looks
promising.

Thanks Paul. I geuss I'll take them back apart and get some exact measurments. They look so close to the Lewmars I've seen on other C-25s that I was hoping maybe Lewmar bearings would work.
