I found some cans of VC-17m for sale at 30% off in the "original" color. My understanding is that the original color is white. However, the Boat US tags on the cans said "bronze". Is Boat US confused or am I?

my observation has been that most VC17 applications are bronze, whether that's the 'default' manufacturer's color, I'm not sure, but odds are... it is.

While all VC colors go on bronze (actually copper) because of the additive, only the original color remains a bronze/brown

To the best of my knowledge, VC does not come in white.

I use VC-17M "Original" and it turns from a shiny copper when applied, to a dark brown after it goes in the water.
