I apologize for the quality of the pictures but IT WAS DARK. First set was the J32 the other eight of us hung on him. To starboard; Catalina 30, ODay 27, S2 9meter, ODay 302. To port; Catalina 30, ODay 272 LE, Me, Hunter 260 (Not everybody is there in the pictures.) We had our usual PB&J but as you can see in the picture everyone else had their Magmas going. People sure can eat well on a boat when they want to! Half of the group spent the night on the J32 hook, we went to the slip.

Now that looks a heck of a good time!

Frank that would be torture for me eating PB and J while those thick steaks shown in the bottom photo sizzle..

Hope your head has healed up!

The real torture for me is that I struggle to pay for the boat I have and others seem to not only have awesome boats, but spend a BU going to the lake every weekend. Such is the fate of teachers.

(Of course the last 10 weeks off was nice!)

I am a little surprised at the sizes of the larger boats. Not many inland lakes in California have marina facilities like a Travel Lift that can accomodate anything larger than a Catalina 25. Lake Tahoe is the only one that comes to mind. Come to think of it, I guess there aren't that many big lakes around here. How big is Lake Cheney?

I am watching the USA vs USA beach Volleyball.... ok commercial. You have seen the permanent hoist we use, we all have keys to it. At the '05 nationals everyone will get dropped in unless they want to get their bearings wet. Our Ericson 32 and Tartan 31 are probably the heaviest boats we have, (the Newport 30 looks heavy too).
Our 2nd largest fleet is 15 Catalina 30s. As for how big our lake is, it is very big in heart. We are a paisley shape that is about 8 miles long and about 3 miles across at the basin. Yesterday it was blowing 18 with sustained gusts to 25 and there were 15 keel boats out, that many cats and half a dozen daysailers, we like to sail.
