Hi Guys,
Our "Lagniappe" 1987 25 SK needs a new sail cover. What is a good price and where should one be ordered?
Thanks

Contact this guy and tell him I sent you
neetra@comcast.net

His name is Robert Pyfrom and he has done work for several of us. I paid $225 to Catalina Direct for a minsail cover before I found Robert. And, the best thing is he will make it how you want it. I had him look at a product from another web site and he incorporated the best ideas of the other product into my headsail deck bag.

I went to a local canvas shop with the old cover, which he used as a template for the new cover. That was four years ago, and I don't remember cost. Maybe 160-180?

But the ones from Catalina Direct are really well made. Mine is six years old and, except for the red -- now pink -- Catalina triangle logo, the cover is as good as new.

That pink triangle is beginning to make my masculinity a little insecure.

I'm probably real late posting here, but what the heck? I purchased a new sail cover for my C30 from National Sail Supply recently. Great people, good construction and quality. I highly recommend. Cost? $170

And Brooke..That faded "pink" triangle logo? That's because it was silk screened.. No U.V. Protection.. Please dont blast me for advertising. Contact me or the web site at www.sailboatlogos.com

I have a better mouse trap for these Catalina sail cover logo replacements!

Hey! Thank you for the Welcome Back! The link question.. No.. not to my knowledge.. but that's ok.. The Catalina logos thing is a "labor of love" and hardly a full time vocation by any means. Having owned C25 #5541 for many years <and why I still lurk around the C25 area :>) > ..now sailing a C30.. the whole sailboatlogos thing, quite frankly, is just plain fun and stems from the respect I have for Catalina Yachts and the Catalina Product.

Speaking and dealing with Catalina owners across the U.S. and in fact the world <I shipped my first set of sail cover logos to Australia a few weeks back - which was VERY cool!> is just plain fun! No other word for it to be honost.

I am in a few of the Catalina Owners Association sites, ships stores, like that, C30, 36, etc. and I am most greatful to them for their support! Should C25/250 wish to add what I have to offer..that would be great and much appreciated.

Bottom Line? We do all love our Catalina's and take a great deal of pride in them. Hopefully, I have been able to "dress up" a few to help to even more increase that pride that we do all seem to share.

Many Thanks Again for your kindness and Best Regards to you sir..
Mark

Speaking of decals and things; one of our fleet 95 members has a pinstriping business and gave me this the other day. You are seeing it through the peel off cover, it is actual size.

Don't know if you like DIY projects, but if you have a good (old cover) pattern, it's not hard and very rewarding to make your own. I replaced all my canvas this season with "Captain Navy" ,a dark blue Sunbrella, and it is gorgeous. Sailrite has lots of kits and interesting products. Good luck. Todd Frye

I got mine at the "The Sail Warehouse"... http://thesailwarehouse.com
It is a high quality cover and the cost is $170. No complaints here.
