If you are willing to go a few miles further north, Up the Hudson maybe 20 miles, I recommend the Nyack Boat Club. The best deal in the metropolitian area. If interested I can get you plugged into several members and several cat 25 sailors.

"soon on the hard"...Don, this year is very different. You have a trailer! Think of all of the projects you can get done this winter with Osmepneo in your yard. Think about the stuff you want to do before the Nationals tow. Get your trailer ready now before the boat is on it. Put your boat on it next month taker it home and enjoy. That teak doesn't stand a chance!

Between the Amboys and Sandy Hook you have to keep in mind that several marinas are behind lift bridges. Those outside the bridges charge a premium for the convenience. I looked that direction when we moved to NJ in 1980 and decided that north was the way to go. We live near the intersection of Rtes 22 and 202-206. The Jersey Shore was/is a long haul on the weekends, especially in the Summer. Will be moving to SE Indiana at the end of the year. "Prime Time" will have a new residence at Brookville Reservoir.

I live in Monmouth County, NJ. I have my boat at a mooring at Fair Haven Yacht Works. Jim is the owner and operator and can be contacted at 732-747-3010. The cost is $1400 includes launch service, clean bathrooms and showers.

It is a twenty min. ride to Sandy Hook Bay or you can sail the river. View the mansions along both sides of the Navasink River and stay in protected waters.
