Today I discovered that my C25 has a sliding latch inside the port cockpit locker that, when slid aft, keeps the fuel tank locker cover from opening. As often as I've had my head (and other body parts) in that locker, I'm surprised that I never saw the latch before.

Was that standard or might the PO have done it?

Standard. It lets you lock the fuel locker by locking the sail locker, and I suppose prevents movement of the fuel tank in a broach to starboard.

I could always remember when I forgot to lock mine. At excessive angles of heel the gas can would come sliding out into the cockpit.
