Hull #5695 is a Standard Rig, Wing Keel with pop-top cabin. Included is a Trail-Rite roller trailer and Yamaha 9.9 hp outboard with electric start and extra-long shaft.
Sails: Ullman full-batten main (new 2002), 150% genoa on CDI ff4 furler with bearing upgrade, Cruising spinnaker with ATN "Tacker" and dousing sock. Older 110% working jib with #6 luff tape to fit CDI.
Trailer: The trailer was professionally sandblasted and painted with epoxy paint in 2004. All new brake lines and cylinders at that time. New tires mounted on crome rims. Lights and wiring all new. 10 foot tongue extension included. Double Fulton HD tongue jacks.
Some other stuff: VC17 bottom, all lines led aft to cockpit via rope clutches, cockpit cushions, bimini, canvas, new mainsail cover, new GEL house battery, shorepower, porta-potti, ground tackle, pop-top enclosure, Origo stove, Cetol on all exterior wood. This is a small portion of the equpiment on the boat. I will email a detailed equipment list and pictures to all interested parties. The boat is currently on her trailer at my home in Maryland. Jim,
I wish I could say that was the case....in reality, we are going to take a break from being boatowners for a while. We are finding it's just too darn hard to sail with two little kids and a big dog. Once they are a little older we will buy another boat, a Catalina probably, and get back on the water. For now, we will turn our attention to more hiking/camping/exploring.
I will continue to tune-in and I look forward to reading many more tales of your west coast adventures. This is a great group of folks and I'm thankful to all of you for your help over the last few years.

anybody whi devotes their time to their kids is all right in my book. And this is coming from some one with no kids.

Nate...no need to leave the forum, lots of good folks on here that don't have a C25/250 or even a boat. As long as you are a sailor it makes for interesting reading even if you are temporarily boatless.

Have you thought about listing the kids - and the dog - on eBay? Might pay for a new toy for the boat.


Okay, okay, I'm just kidding. After spending the day applying Poli-Glow for the new owner of the C25 that I recently sold (gee, what a nice guy I am) and then stopping by the marina hangout for a libation or two (or three), I might be a bit more irreverent than usual. Good for you that you're giving your kids first priority. You and they won't regret it.

The boat has sold. Please welcome Jason and Barb Richards to our Catalina family. I hope they enjoy Heeling Properties as much as we have. Fair Winds.
