'Just finished rebedding and sealing all of my windows ... what a job ... I don't want to do that again any time soon!
Does anyone know of an easy way to clean the aluminum window frames? ... Comet? ... metal polish? ... toothpaste? I bought some aluminum mast cleaner, and the results aren't worth the effort.
Depends on how many boat bucks you have to spare. You could take them to a plating shop and have them anodized. Blue, Black, Red just about any color you want. You could paint them with an epoxy paint. But cheapest way is to clean them with a little Bon Ami.
NOT COMET! <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> You'll take off the annodizing (assuming you still have some). On our previous boat, which we bought new, I used fiberglass cleaner/wax on the mast and boom each year and they looked practically new after 21 years in a salt water environment. If you already have pitting, I don't have any suggestions.
