I know there are a few members residing in Phoenix on this forum. If I may inquire... are there guest slips available, mooring, or maybe a place to park the trailer close by, mast up?
I am planning to bring my boat to Lake Pleasant the week of March 21st. My elderly parents live in the area and I want to give them a taste of sailing. Lake Pleasant appears to be a nice, docile venue for sharing the joys of sailing with them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The marina is great, movies on Sat night, all around nice people. Watch out for all of the trash in the water however, we have had ALOT of rain the past few months and it has been washed down the river.
But the lake is at 100%+ and if the wind gods bless us the sailing is great this time of year mid to high 70's
The Marina Website is PleasantHarbor.com, and yes they have guest slips, however they are having an on water boat show the weekend before and are moving boats all around. You may want to call first, the marina employees are very friendly and helpful. I believe the visitor slips are around $ 25, mention your friend in C-67 Dewwey Robins and I believe you get a $ 5 dollar discount. Last fall my buddy was next to me for two weeks as a visitor, Restaurant/Bar is on the water and has good food and fun, store onsite has basics, but alittle pricey, I've sailed twice a week for the past few weeks and although there is some debris in the lake its avoidable. They also have dry storage at the Sailboat Shop, which is not actually part of the marina group, a google search can get you to them. Winds have been great. Thanks for your replies. I called them today and talked to a lady named Angie. At first she said they wouldn't have anything available because of a boat show and fishing tournament. She then called back after talking to her boss and informed me that slips should be available Sunday night (20th) and I could park the boat in their parking lot until one is available. They quoted me $27 a day or $16.50 a day if I stayed a week. They did seem like nice folks. Hopefully I will get to meet some of you while I am there. Thanks again.
Charlie I just took my 18’ Chrysler out to Lake Pleasant for the AZ Birthday-Leukemia Cup Regatta. The ramps are great and no problem putting in the boat. There is lots of room to park the trailer and or boat. There is a RV park on the lake but it is hard to get into, it is booked a year in advanced. There is one strange thing about this lake, which no one seems to mention. That is the wind! It is strongest in the morning coming from the north down the mountain (cool air going down into the valley) as the day goes on this decreases until about 11:00 and it stops for about an hour. No wind at all. It then slowly picks up but from the opposite direction from the south (the valley has now warmed up and the heat starts to rise up the mountain) the wind will pick up until around 5:00 and things start to cool off and the cycle repeats. So your best sailing is early in the morning and then latter in the afternoon.
