this talk of stainless bolts seizing, and the need to prevent this reminded me of the need to lube the extentable tongue on your trailer too. I have heard horror stories of them seizing up permanantly with rust.
I lubed mine with teflon grease manufactured by Starbriet, purchased at boaters world. I only had to use about 1/4 of the small container. Good thing, as it cost 10 bucks.
It costs money to do preventive maintenance, but it costs more money not to
Don't forget to lube the movable parts of your trailer coupler too.
