Does anyone know the name of the Burgundy fabric found on the 1989 C-25? I have one bad cushion (Starboard Settee, bottom cushion)and hate to have to redo all the cushions just because of the one. Better yet, does anyone have one for sale???

The folks at Catalina Yachts would probably tell you.

Here's a link to a webpage where you can ask them questions...

I tried to get some of the grey velour type fabric for my 89 and they no longer have it. Catalina did send me samples of the fabric that they did have. Nothing close.
For only 1200 they will gladly make you an entire set of cushions.

Hey Greg,
Check with Phil about fabric. Sunbrella also makes interior fabrics, and maybe he has some samples.

Catalina Direct has cabin cushion covers. They aren't listed in their catalogue, but give them a call.

Why not take a good sample to a fabric shop, or an upholstery place to see if their sample books have anything similar?

That is exactly what I did. You want to find a shop that specialises in unholstery and drapery fabric; most "fabric shops" stock fabrics primarily for garments, and this kind of shop may not have the "sample books" that ddlyle is talking about. At Garland Fabrics here in Sacramento, I found a sample book from a mill that had several patterns in an acrylic plush velour that I am dead certain are the same fabrics that the Catalina factory was using in 1986-1989 for C-22's and -25's. I owned a 1986 C-22 that was upholstered in a grey with red accents velour, and I have seen a couple of C-25 Mk. III's and IV's that used the same fabric in a burgundy-with-grey and dark-blue-with-grey. I ordered 20 yards of the dark blue and re-covered all of the cushions in #1205 (which had come from the factory with a horrible, scratchy brown and yellow fabric that was like burlap sacking material!)
