I am in the middle of purchasing a 1983 Catalina 25 swing keel without a trailer. I am also searching for a trailer because slip space is unaffordable. Does anyone have a picture of a Catalina 25 trailer that they could either post or email to me? I am assuming the key measurement is from the bunker to the crossbar / axle to allow for the swing keel. Any other pertinent information would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

This is in the manuals section of the homepage. It should give you a start. You did not mention whether you were going rollers, bunks, or pads.

Hi Rob,

Welcome to the group!

I took a series of photos & some measurements a while back to help someone who was building a trailer for his swing keel C-25. I have at least a dozen photos, and many of them have a tape measure in the photo so you can get an idea of dimensions.

As Frank pointed out, you didn't mention whether or not you were considering a trailer with bunks or rollers ... my trailer is an EZ-Loader with rollers.

Let me know if you would like for me to email you the photos. Of course, the file(s) will be quite large, and AOL will dump the photos into a ".zip" folder ... you will need WINZIP to view them (the download is free, if you don't already have it installed).

Anyway, you can contact me through the email link on my profile page, or send me an email at buzzmaring at AOL dot com.

You're going to love your new boat!

BTW, where are you located?
