According to my user's manual (2005 WK) the manual bilge pump pick up should be in the aft centerline bilge sump (under the aft berth). I don't seem to be able to locate what I would expect to be a bilge pump pickup hose. I do find a thru hull (my boat has the marine head installed) and a valve for the head intake water in this location. I would like to test this pump but am not sure where to 'put' water to check it out. Anyone have an idea(s)?

Thanks,

Don

On my 2000 WK the bilge pump hose is located under the cabin table. There is a plywood cover over the bilge at that point. You should also see the keel bolts at the same location. The only fitting I have under the aft berth is the through hull shut off valve for the marine head.

When you lift the panel over the keel bolts & bilge, look aft of the opening & under the floor for a gray 1 1/2" hose (looks like an undersized vacuum cleaner hose). That's where mine was when it arrived from the factory. It's a simple task to pull it into the right place.

Once you are set, throw a couple of cups of water in the bilge & pump away.

Thanks, I'll take a look aft in the bilge, I'll bet you are correct and the hose is still 'stuffed' out of site. I love this forum, nothing like taking advantage of others knowledge!

Don

Took a closer look while at the lake today, your were correct, the hose was just where you said it would be, pump works fine!

Thanks
