One of the first mods I made was because I'm tall. I cut a piece of foam pipe insulation and fitted the slit onto the top sill of the doorway into the head. It is sort of brownish so it is hardly noticable. It removes and replaces easily if someone wants to slide the curtaindoor closed.

I'll bet you love the pop-top Dan! I do, and I'm 'only' 6'0".

With all the innovative and energetic sailors on this site, I am really surprised that the only mention of a permanent (or semi-permanent) solution to create more headroom was the one involving foam float tubes from Walmart. Nobody ever tried building up the top four to six inches with wood/glass/??? Report in, if you have plans or experiences, so others of us can try the experiment, Thanks, Ron Orion #2343 SR SK in SW FL

Do you mean to raise the entire cabin top? Maybe like those passenger vans? I think it would spoil the design.
Another piece of advice I read long ago is to use diagonal cutters to remove the buttons from your "baseball" caps....helps to prevent scars when bumping your head in low clearances....assuming you wear them.

Imagine full headroom, real hatches instead of hatchboards, no obstruction to a mid boom traveller. Keep the slider as is, just raise it up permanently . . . might not look so bad -

C25DS? The thought has crossed my mind. Of cours on a TR there would be inches vertically between the boom and the traveler. Should make for some interesting sheeting angles. Of the cain-top traveler conversions posted, I have not seen (I have no idea what it is called) the two-anchor version like this. Should be enough for cruising.

perhaps a fiberglass 'topper' like the ones available for pickup trucks. There's plenty of room on the C250WB cabin top.

Or, you could just have two or three inches removed from each leg. Might be a bit uncomfortable but at least you're not altering the lines of the boat.

I took a chainsaw to my hull and cut out a section of it and lowered it about 6". Built up the edges with West epoxy and S glass. It does slow me down a little, but I sure do love the headroom. A little top heavy when trailering though. Kind of like trailering a fin.

Frank, are you serious? I like what Dave has drawn up. Not so bad as I imagined.

I like the looks of it as well! I do not think the lines have been spoiled, I am sure a DIY'r with some skill and patience could do a beautiful job.
