I have been absent for a while, from the forum and from sailing. The admiral got a new job so we moved to NJ, leaving the boat behind in NC. She (the boat, not the admiral) was sold last weekend and has probably made it to TX by now. I pointed out the forum to the new owner, so I hope he shows up and enjoys this site as much as I did.

We will probably be boat-free for a while. I am planning to use the annual dockage/maintenance budget to go cruising somewhere warm. I may even build a dinghy in the garage.

I have enjoyed this site and forum and hopefully I will show up again with another boat. Until then...
