be able to get to 50 by, oh, say midnight tonight, right??<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Just started this evening to do this job. Looks like I'll be filling in the old holes and redrilling three new ones each side, plus I need to find some stainless bolts, which is difficult in this town I live in. West Marine wants $4 for four bolts..plus $5.65 shipping to get it here...I think I'll keep looking. BTW, the old doubles were installed by Catalina at an angle which didn't quite help the line get around the corner so I am angling the deck organizers at about a 45 degree angle plus moving them out nearer the edge of the cabin top so the lines, when turned back toward the already installed triple Spinlock rope clutches, don't rub over the leading edge of the pop-top decking, which would eventually rub a groove into the gelcoat, etc. Should be a better location. Will have to take some pictures when I'm done and then figure out how to post them some way. Okay, not so paultry as before...... Gary N.
Had to get to 30 this evening before hitting the sack. BTW, my boat is being launched in a local lake this Saturday after more than a year on the trailer. And then maybe to Long Beach for the summer. Finally......going sailing again. ...and closer to a non-deckhand!!
Gary, I see that you are still at 30 posts. Does that mean the posts have to be to different threads<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

It is not good to arrive before your time, I am sure there must be some old sailors tale or a chinese proverb to support this. You know it is like hard woods grow slow and soft wood fast, Steve Steakley Moon Chaser
Finished filling the original holes for the through bolts holding the double deck organizers tonight. Friday I drill new holes for the new triples. Found 1/4 - 20 3 inch phillips stainless bolts at a local True Value Hardware for 80 cents each so now can finish (beats the $2.50 per bolt doing mailorder from W.Marine. Gary

If it isn't pouring down rain, I will be launching off the trailer tomorrow (Saturday) and doing some afternoon sailing....YES! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle> Will have to take pictures and post them ASAP.
Hey Steve....(33 and counting) What do you teach and how long have you taught? BTW, I'm thinking that I can retire in 6 to 8 years once my teenagers get out of college, of course (read, $$$$ needed). At 52 I am really looking forward to being free to do as I wish each day.
