Steve, I had no idea you lived in Dayton. I live in Sugarcreek Township. My office is in Centerville. I would be interested in meeting on 4/5 to meet some of the gang. If there is room let me know. My family is out of town so I am free.

Regards,

Pete Hagar

I'll tell Jay's to expect 12 of us. We'll see you there, Pete!

Anyone else!

By the way, I made the reservations in my name, but I'll tell them that if they see anyone who sways when he walks, it's probably one of our sailors.

I'll tell Jay's to expect 14. Man, I'm already hungry! (Although, that could be because I'm fasting this morning for my annual physical checkup. )

Steve, I hate to think what the tip going to look like! I hope they will let us stay for along time with all the people we are bringing. Is there an alternate meeting place for some of us who will show up early i e a bar or lounge we can meet at first for warm ups?

Jay's has a bar, and I plan to be there a little early to test their merchandise, and ensure that it meets the high standard of quality expected by sailors. Also, when I made the reservations, I told them we would probably want to stay and talk after dinner, and they assured me that we wouldn't be rushed out to make room for the later crowd (although they might forget that conversation under pressure.) If so, there are lots of other nice taverns in the Oregon Historic District.

Steve, I sent you an email through the forum and do not know if you received it. I will not be able to make it due to a death in the family. Cousin. I hope to hook up with you in the near future as we seem to live very close to each other.

Regards and regrets,

Pete

Thanks Pete. I'm sorry to hear about the death in the family. I received your email, and sent one in return, but it must not have got to you for some reason. I'll be in town for a week or perhaps two, and then I'll be in Maryland for the summer. My number is in the phone book. Call anytime.
