Sooo Larry, now that you've had a chance to sail the boat a few times do you think it's faster than it was before you had the bottom job done?

Well, that comment made me laugh a bit. I probably have an addl 50# on the boat with the 7 coats of waterproofing ! It is faster maybe 1 knot due to having it out of the water and no slime on the bottom which it would normally have at least to some extent even after a normal pressure wash in the Fall. In this case, it was completely clean thru middle of MAR12.

However, it is also slower due to having my old sails on the boat. I took my Quantum sails off and brought them back to Quantum for a look over and cleaning last Fall. Going to put the new sails back on in a few weeks.

Feels real good being back in the water sailing again !
